Established in the year 2000 as a property management company Haloprop has grown significantly over the past 22 years and currently administers over 150 residential and commercial blocks of sectional title, HOA, and Rental Properties in KZN. Our portfolio also includes formal student accommodation. Our Property Sales Division continues to grow with our dedicated sales team.
As an owner-managed business we are able to provide a ‘hands-on’ approach to our services. Our experienced and qualified staff of 26 are motivated to provide a personalised and professional comprehensive management service to our clients.
We are proud members of the National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA), Real Estate Business Owners South Africa (Rebosa), Pietermaritzburg & Midlands Chamber Business, Institute of Estate Agents of South Africa and registered Property Practitioners (PPRA), and a Debt Collectors Council member.
Sectional Title Body Corporate and Home Owners Association
Brief summary of services:
- Billing of Levy and other charges and distribution of statements, collection of levies and other charges, handovers to attorneys
- Preparation of annual budget and assist with 10 year maintenance plan, payment of all accounts, financial reports to the trustees, preparation of audit file for the auditors, Investment of reserve funds, assist with arranging compliance and submission of all statutory requirements
- Assist in the arrangement of all maintenance services required, liaise with insurance broker regarding the insurance requirements and claims, preparation and circulation of notices and correspondence, issuing of levy clearance certificates, attend to minutes of meetings
- Assist with advice on Sectional Title and Home Owners Association matters
